Job summary

LifeView Group is a nonprofit human services organization with a mission of helping people. This role focuses on accurate submission, tracking and posting of behavioral health facility provider claims, using our EHR system to manage status, verifications and appeals.

The candidate will work to maximize reimbursement by identifying appropriate billing codes and coordinating with registries, medical records, and insurers, while adhering to policies and federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• AA degree required, or GED with 5 years of related experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant business experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and high accuracy.
• Ability to solve problems and know when to ask for assistance.
• Pass state or federal background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Submit, track and post behavioral health and substance abuse facility provider claims.
• Input, monitor and follow-up claims status; process appeals.
• Perform patient insurance verifications and determine primary insurance.
• Manage the appeals process with insurance companies to maximize reimbursements.
• Assist in refining billing processes through research of new and existing billing codes.
• Coordinate with central client registration, medical records and insurers to identify best billing practices.
