Behavioral Health Clinic, LLC is seeking a Billing and Claims Specialist to manage accurate billing for mental health services. The role requires collaboration with clinicians, staff, patients, and insurers to submit and process claims, enter payments, and prepare statements.

The ideal candidate can navigate billing rules, support collections, and produce routine reports while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Remote work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience handling billing or medical billing is preferred.
• Familiarity with billing software and EHR systems is helpful.
• Strong organization and time-management skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Submit insurance claims through the EHR and claims-processing software.
• Enter payments including ERA, EFT, and other types.
• Prepare and send billing statements and reports.
• Research payer requirements and resolve billing issues.
• Run billing cycle reports and analyze outcomes.
• Support patient collections, including copays and balances.
• Issue refunds when needed and manage the collections process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
