LifeView Group, a nonprofit supporting behavioral health and disability services, seeks a Billing Specialist to manage claims submission, tracking, and posting for our facilities. You will verify patient insurance, determine primary coverage, and handle appeals to maximize reimbursement.

Qualifications

• AA degree required or equivalent.
• Three years of relevant business experience.
• High school diploma or GED with five years related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organization with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to problem solve and know when to request assistance.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 2010.

Responsibilities

• Submit, track, and post facility provider claims accurately.
• Input, monitor, and follow-up claims status in the EHR system.
• Process appeals and identify best practices for billing to maximize reimbursement.
• Verify patient insurance and determine primary insurance.
• Collaborate with central client registration, medical records and insurers to resolve issues.
