Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health and/or substance use counseling or equivalent.
• Associates degree with behavioral health major and/or substance use counseling or working towards a degree with comparable experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with two years of college-level education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assessments and evaluations to determine service level.
• Administer agency-approved assessment instruments.
• Prepare induction packets and verify program eligibility.
• Work with seniors.
• Coordinate client entry into the program with all components.
• Give presentations and seminars about WestCare's services.
• May conduct assessments in jails and institutions.
• Answer inquiries from prospective clients about programs.
• Coordinate transportation of new clients from jail facilities.
• Prepare correspondence to referral sources regarding assessment outcomes.
• Embody WestCare Foundation's mission and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
