Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health and/or substance use counseling or equivalent.
• Associates degree with behavioral health major and/or substance use counseling or working towards a degree with qualifying experience.
• Two years of college-level education required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assessments and evaluations to determine service level.
• Administer agency-approved assessment instruments for treatment.
• Complete induction packets and verify program eligibility.
• Coordinate client intake with agency components.
• Give presentations and seminars on WestCare services as assigned.
• May conduct assessments in jails or institutions.
• Answer inquiries from prospective clients about programs.
• Coordinate transportation of new clients from jail facilities.
• Prepare correspondence to referral sources regarding assessments.
• Uphold WestCare Foundation’s mission, ethics and goals; perform other duties.
