Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides safety observation of the patient, documents status every 15 minutes, communicates with the RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulating).
• Maintains a safe environment, monitors ligatures and safety risks, accompanies patient off unit when directed.
• Develops and maintains good human relations with patients and health care team members.
• Communicates to patients that they are a high priority and maintains confidentiality.
