Job summary

Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health in Haverhill, MA, is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) to join the treatment team. The role provides 1:1 patient support, safety checks every 15 minutes, and collaborative care within a structured, team-based environment.

The position offers weekend and evening shift differentials, tuition reimbursement up to $3,000/year, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• Six months of experience with similar patient population preferred.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks every 15 minutes and supervise patients.
• Provide 1:1 support and engage in therapeutic activities.
• Float to different units as needed to cover staffing.
• Educate colleagues on triggers and coping strategies.
• Assist with admissions orientation and review unit guidelines.
• Protect patient rights and advocate for patients.
• Attend department meetings and complete mandatory training.
