Job summary

Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) to join our facility in Haverhill, MA. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, providing 1:1 patient support and helping maintain a safe, therapeutic environment under RN supervision.

The role includes 3:30PM–11:00PM shifts, weekend coverage, and multiple shift differential adds. A structured, supportive setting emphasizes compassionate care and professional growth within a leading

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent.
• CPR certification is required.
• De-escalation and restraint certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks every 15 minutes to ensure patient safety.
• Provide 1:1 support and engage with patients during shifts.
• Assist in crisis situations using verbal de-escalation techniques and CPI standards.
• Float to different units as needed based on staffing.
• Educate colleagues on patient-specific triggers and coping strategies.
• Support discharge planning by identifying barriers.
