Job summary

Highland Behavioral Health in California is seeking an Appointment Coordinator to help residents access the services they need. You will schedule medical, dental, and psychiatric visits, arrange transportation, and maintain clear, professional records to support coordinated care.

Working with physicians, families, and the treatment team, you will communicate changes, track outcomes, and help residents navigate community resources to improve overall well-being and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, or 2 years of mental health experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple appointments and priorities.
• Valid First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical, dental, and psychiatric appointments.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Communicate with physicians, offices, families, and service providers.
• Support residents with daily living skills and psychiatric symptoms as needed.
• Help residents access community and healthcare services.
• Monitor and document resident progress and appointment outcomes.
• Work closely with the treatment team and facility staff.
• Maintain accurate and professional documentation.
