Serene Health Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Patient Coordinator to provide scheduling, referrals, and information for individuals and families seeking Behavioral Health Services. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with interaction across staff and external contacts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and experience in front office work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in front office work preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs and have excellent data entry skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and phone etiquette.
• Ability to maintain confidential records.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at an office desk on the computer.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a working relationship with managerial, administrative, and clinical staff to assure efficiency in the day-to-day responsibilities.
• The ability to add, update, and edit scheduling services.
• Ability to complete all data entry for pre-admission including identifying information, the reason for referral, relevant history, and payor type information.
• Maintains confidentiality of all clinical and administrative information consistent with agency policy.
