Job summary

Rivendell Behavioral Health Services in Benton, AR, is seeking a Call Center Specialist to support admissions and referral activities. The role involves crisis intervention information gathering, data entry into Med Series 4, and coordinating no‑charge assessments for potential patients.

You will verify insurance details and collaborate with the Admissions team and RNs to optimize patient flow. This full‑time position requires strong communication and compassionate care in a behavioral health

Qualifications

• RN is highly preferred for this position.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• One year in a fast-paced call center environment preferred.
• One year in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Exceptional phone etiquette, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to speak with different patient populations and referral sources required.
• Strongly preferred: insurance verification, telephonic skills, and data entry.
• Excellent customer service with friendly demeanor.
• Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation required and offered upon hire during orientation.
• CPR/First Aid required and offered upon hire during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admission functions and schedule no-charge assessments.
• Collect data from Inquiry Calls and assessments.
• Input information into Med Series 4 promptly.
• Verify insurances for the Admissions team.
• Work alongside the Admissions and Referral team of RNs and Intake Counselors.
• Monitor faxes and referral systems to increase admissions and reduce wait times.
