Job summary

Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas is seeking an Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN) to support the assessment and admission process at our Benton, AR facility. The role requires effective communication with referral sources and coordination of patient care plans.

The nurse will render professional nursing care, document data promptly, and participate in creating individualized care plans while adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold AR LPN or RN license or be license eligible. NEW GRADS WELCOME TO APPLY!
• CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation offered upon hire. Mandatory certifications.
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff. Must be able to work as a team with all staff/coworkers and maintain the ability to treat all patients with respect.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to patients within the assessment and admission process.
• Documents all data accurately in a timely manner.
• Participates in formulation of individual care plans for all patients and implements plan according to hospital policy.
• Communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed.
• Encompasses responsibilities delegated to A & R representatives as regularly needed.
