The Dimock Center in Boston, MA is hiring an Access Coordinator for the Centralized Access Department. This full-time, on-site role supports behavioral health, substance use disorder, recovery services, and integrated healthcare access.

It includes screening, admissions coordination, insurance enrollment, and patient advocacy throughout the admission process. You will coordinate between patients, families, and providers, ensuring timely access to care and adherence to confidentiality and BSAS

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience with mental illness, substance use disorders, homelessness, trauma, or co‑occurring disorders.
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute experience.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Respond to calls and referrals about behavioral health and healthcare services.
• Conduct screenings to assess needs and appropriate level of care.
• Assist with intake, enrollment, and eligibility documentation in the EHR.
• Coordinate admissions and appointments and educate patients on services.
• Advocate for patient rights, confidentiality, and informed consent.
