Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a front desk / registration assistant to greet patients, verify information, and support clinic operations. You will manage admissions, appointments, and telehealth scheduling while ensuring accurate data entry in EHR systems and maintaining patient confidentiality.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of office experience, medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of office functions and computer applications is beneficial.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the facility.
• Check in/out patients and schedule follow-ups.
• Collect and verify demographic, financial and insurance data.
• Enter information into electronic health records for billing.
• Schedule telehealth connections as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
