Job summary

United Community Health Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Program Coordinator to support integrated behavioral health and substance use disorder services across clinical locations. The role involves patient navigation, policy adherence, and coordination with providers and front/back-office teams to improve access to care.

The coordinator will also oversee scheduling, intake triage, billing support, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position.
• Knowledge of program management and development procedures.
• Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate and coordinate on behalf of the patient.
• Ensure implementation of UCHC policies and practices as developed for the program.
• Gain a deep understanding of various insurance plans and coverage details for behavioral health services.
• Identify key community organizations that provide services and assist in establishing better coordination of services for UCHC patients.
• Assist with the implementation and coordination of Telehealth Psychiatric services.
• Assist with Telehealth technology activation and coordination of Telehealth schedules for patient visits inside UCHC clinic locations.
