Qualifications

• Medical office or related customer service experience (minimum 1 year)
• Preferred: MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers/registers patients with accurate demographic and financial data
• Collects patient balances, co-payments, and co-insurance
• Verifies coverage and obtains prior authorizations/referrals
• Responds to customer inquiries and supports scheduling
• May transport patients as needed
• Assist with departmental coverage and daily appointment scheduling
