Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate, able to stand and assist children who may weigh up to 50 pounds, and committed to teamwork to help

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds
• 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques
• Support safety and positive behavior strategies in clinical and home settings
• Collaborate with team to ensure consistent implementation of plans
