Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and support families.

Training is provided; candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Growth opportunities are available within a structured team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to reducing interfering behaviors and improving child outcomes.
• Collaborate with team and support the child and family in daily activities.
