Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and require patience, compassion, and teamwork. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a pay range of $19-$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a BCBA and follow guidance to ensure effective intervention.
• Maintain safety and support during activities and transitions.
