Job summary

Centria Healthcare is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques. The role emphasizes patience, compassion, and teamwork to help each child reach potential.

Training is provided to prepare you for certification as a Registered Behavior Technician after onboarding. This position offers an hourly pay range and opportunities to grow within a dedicated team

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test if not up to date.
• Pass pre-employment background check; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Eligible to obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior support under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with documentation.
• Participate in required training and maintain certifications.
