Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one interventions under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support children's progress.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure consistent intervention delivery.
