Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting. You will implement individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA and use evidence-based strategies to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and a passion for helping children. Training will be provided; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and complete onboarding for an RBT

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
Reduce interfering behaviors while supporting the child’s progress.
Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in training.
