Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians to help children with autism through one-on-one intervention plans under BCBA guidance.

You will implement evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided to new hires and a supportive team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in comprehensive training.
