Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Physical activity is involved, with lifting up to 50 pounds and variable positions throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Centria Autism certification required after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Participate in comprehensive training provided by Centria Autism.
