Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. Training is provided, and you will use evidence-based techniques to improve communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds; CPR/First Aid and TB testing may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and training provided to ensure effective interventions.
