Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. No experience required; comprehensive training provided.

You should be patient and team oriented; candidates must be 18+, HS diploma or GED. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and being able to stand, walk, sit as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test, and pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under guidance of a BCBA
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors
• Support safety and comfort, including lifting up to 50 pounds when needed
