Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA supervision. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teach communication, social and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors in a supportive team environment.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in interactions with children.
• 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required; background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move in various positions.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with BCBA and a multidisciplinary team.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes during sessions.
