Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques.

Training is provided, and you’ll join a dedicated team focused on meaningful impacts for children and families. The role involves active daily movement and lifting up to 50 pounds, with opportunities for growth in behavioral analysis.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Under the guidance of a BCBA, teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors and support development.
