Job summary

At Centria Autism, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention plans. You will work under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while managing challenging behaviors in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress in collaboration with the team.
• Be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
