Job summary

Centria Healthcare seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to support children with autism, providing one-on-one intervention under a BCBA's guidance. You will implement individualized plans and teach communication, social and daily living skills in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate; able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• RBT Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in safety and interaction during activities.
