Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles in Hillsboro, OR. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance, to teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

Pay ranges from $19 to $20 hourly. Training is provided; you must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. This is a physically active position requiring lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Move and interact safely with children up to 50 pounds.
