Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay range $18-$25 per hour, with opportunities to grow in a structured career path.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support progress toward goals.
• Contribute to a positive, team-based work environment.
