Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services in the San Rafael area is hiring entry-level Behavior Technicians to work 1:1 with children who have autism or developmental delays. This part-time position offers 2–3 hour sessions in-home, in-clinic, or at school, with a schedule of 2-8pm and a starting pay of $20–$24 per hour, plus onboarding bonuses and training opportunities.

You will support communication, social and daily living skills, while receiving supervision from BCBA staff.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Preferred: Psychology, Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• RBT, BCAT, ABAT certification preferred or ABA paraprofessional training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s).
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
