Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services Inc in San Francisco is hiring a part-time Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children in their homes, clinics, or schools. Sessions run 2–3 hours, with a 2–8 pm schedule, and compensation of $20–$24 per hour, with increases after RBT certification. Training and ongoing supervision are provided.

Entry-level candidates and certified RBTs are welcome. The role requires completing a 40-hour RBT training before start and obtaining RBT certification within 6 months,

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Reliability and willingness to work with a variety of clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment.
• Must obtain RBT certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s).
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
