Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children with autism in-home, clinic, or school settings. You will help develop communication, social, and daily living skills through structured, play-based sessions lasting 2–3 hours.

The role is part-time with afternoon/evening hours (2–8pm) across Contra Costa County. New and certified RBTs are welcome; training and supervision are provided, with opportunities to grow into senior roles and BCBA pathways.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children and families.
• Reliability and ability to work independently.
• Bilingual skills are a plus (Spanish).
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification and complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA professionals.
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
