Job summary

Surpass Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and teens in clinical, school, or home settings. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will implement individualized plans and help clients reach their full potential.

The role emphasizes data collection, progress updates to families, and consistent documentation. Monday–Friday shifts with comprehensive training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED (bonus if you have a degree in Behavioral Health, Early Childhood Education, or something similar).
• Pre-Employment Drug Screening is required.
• Ability to earn RBT certification within 45 days (training provided).
• Experience working with kids with autism is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and integrity.
• Full-time is considered to be at least 30 hours weekly (occasional dips below 30 hours).

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans using ABA principles.
• Assist with challenging behaviors and provide a safe, supportive environment.
• Collaborate with the BCBA to update caregivers on progress.
• Complete session notes and timesheets.
• Collect and record data on socially significant behaviors.
• Use engaging instructional materials to motivate learners.
