Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance. You will work one-on-one to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. The role involves standing, walking and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a focus on safety and compassionate teamwork to help children reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for helping children with autism.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Move and lift safely, standing, walking, and handling materials up to 50 pounds.
