Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teach communication and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to operate in a team.

Training is provided, with pay range $17–$20 per hour. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional bending or kneeling.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test if not done in the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety and comfort of clients during activities and transitions.
