Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Training is provided, and success is measured by positive outcomes for children and families. Role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test as required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Follow evidence-based techniques and participate in ongoing training.
