Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting positive outcomes.

Prior experience not required as comprehensive training is provided. Candidates must be compassionate, patient, and a team player, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and Tuberculosis test.
Background check clear.
Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
RBT certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
Help reduce interfering behaviors.
Provide support and ensure safety during activities.
