Job summary

Centria Autism seeks motivated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one sessions under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans and use evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and HS diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test required.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Participate in training and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure child safety and wellbeing during sessions.
