Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's supervision.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while helping reduce challenging behaviors. Training is provided.

The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds; pay range is $18-24 per hour; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
