Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. You will work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.

The role focuses on teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. We provide comprehensive training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors through targeted interventions.
