Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, delivering individualized intervention plans and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.

No experience required—comprehensive training is provided. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily activities. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Follow guidance from a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
