Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adults with autism and developmental differences.

You will work one-on-one in clients' homes and community settings, implementing plans created by BCBAs and helping clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills. You will collect data, track progress, and create structured learning environments while receiving ongoing BCBA support and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field; or at least one year of experience in a related role (Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education
