Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home-based or community settings, helping children and adults build independence, communication, and social skills.

You’ll work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement behavior-change plans, document progress, and create engaging, structured sessions that celebrate client milestones and support meaningful growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with children or behavioral health is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow behavior-change plans.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges
• Help individuals build social and communication skills
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session
