Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home or community settings, helping children and adults build skills for independence, communication, and connection.

You will work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts and follow behavior-change plans while documenting progress. This role offers competitive hourly pay, paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement options, mileage reimbursement, and flexible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development; or.
• At least one year of experience working with children in related roles such as Child Development professional, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
