Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home-based or community-based settings for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs.

You will work alongside Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement behavior plans and track progress. You will help clients build social and communication skills, support families, and document milestones, while offering a range of benefits and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completed college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development; or at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session
