Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Comprehensive training will be provided; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. Physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and teamwork.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; RBT certification preferred/required after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under a BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
• Complete onboarding and obtain required certifications.
