Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home or community settings, helping individuals build social and communication skills while following ABA plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

You will collect progress data, document milestones, and create structured interactions during sessions, with schedules across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. This role offers competitive pay and growth opportunities in behavioral-health services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or at least one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
